FEHD Celebrates EdUHK’s 3rd Place Worldwide in Education in ShanghaiRanking’s GRAS 2026
The Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) is pleased to celebrate EdUHK’s Education discipline ranking 3rd globally in ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2026, marking an impressive rise of six places from last year.
This global recognition highlights EdUHK’s growing international impact in education and reflects the collective efforts across the University, including FEHD’s contributions to research excellence, academic innovation, and professional engagement.
“As part of EdUHK, we are delighted to celebrate this remarkable achievement,” said Professor Kevin Chan, Acting Dean of FEHD. “It reflects the collective dedication of our academic staff, researchers, and students. As a key Faculty driving education at EdUHK, we remain committed to producing high-quality research, nurturing future educators, and deepening academic engagement with partners and communities around the world.”
ShanghaiRanking’s GRAS evaluates universities worldwide across 57 subjects in the fields of Natural Sciences, Engineering, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences. Universities are assessed according to five indicators: World-Class Faculty, World-Class Output, High-Quality Research, Research Impact and International Collaboration.
Building on this achievement, FEHD will continue to advance impactful research, strengthen partnerships with local schools and international institutions, and connect academic knowledge with classroom practice and educational development. Together with the wider EdUHK community, FEHD remains committed to shaping the future of education locally, regionally and globally.
